Wise Owl Eyeshadow Tutorial with the Pixelated Eyeshadows

This tutorial is for anyone and any eye shape, I even used this on myself here. Mostly this eyeshadow tutorial is for the women over the age of 60!  Yeah, it is for the most beautiful women on this planet which I find many cosmetic brands choose to ignore.

A Naturally Beautiful Eye Look

I have discovered the popular eyeshadow tutorials on this blog are the ones which enhance your natural beauty.  I think this is great because everyone should embrace their own unique beauty and what better way than to make your eyes stand out with just the right amount of color and improvement.

Subtle, Defined, and Opened Eye Look for the Mature Wise Eyes

Eyeshadow application becomes a bit puzzling when one becomes a mature and wise woman.  The muscular structure around the eyes isn't as defined as they used to be, and the skin texture is not as smooth.  Yet, beauty of the eyes is more defined by the years lived.  This is where eyeshadow should just enhance those wise and wonderful eyes.

How to Contour, Define, Shape, and Make Your Eyes Look Bigger

I considered another title for this post: "How to Wear Eyeshadow Without Looking Like a Whore."  Instead, I went for the tame version since everyone wants bigger eyes!  This tutorial really shows how taupe eyeshadow acts as a background color for the other eyeshadows.

5 Minute Eyeshadow Application for Any Eye Shape

*Nothing to disclose except my (in)sanity.*

This eyeshadow tutorial works on any eye shape from monolids to deep set eyes.  The fast and easy application will also give the eyes the illusion of contour and depth without the excess guidelines like scotch tape and/or that business card to hold at the angle.  After all, you only have two hands and applying eyeshadow on oneself is sometimes an act of a contortionist.  In this tutorial all you need is your eyes' bone structure as your guide.  The only rule (recommendation) is a matte contour shadow.  This is probably the most important eyeshadow.  Just remember a brown-tone eyeshadow at least two shades darker than your natural skin tone.  Two shades will just give the most natural and no-makeup crease; the darker you go the more depth it will give under heavy lighting.

The Fast Neutral Eye Look Inspired by the TV Show the Arrow

to see the show go to
I am a major fan of the Arrow, not only do I enjoy watching Oliver Queen and John Diggle run on pure testosterone.  I enjoy looking at the makeup.  Yes, as a makeup addict, as you know, I am influenced by the beauty on tv and film.  The last tutorial, Skyfall, was a bit difficult but this one isn't.  In fact, it is fast and easy since it is an eye look made for a tv show which hardly gets much time to spare when it comes to makeup application.  So, if you want a look that has depth and definition and is wearable anywhere.  Go for this look.

Sultry Smoky Eyes

Images from the movie Skyfall
I know I am late to the game in doing a tutorial on Skyfall, but I wanted to make sure it suited my mature eyes.  In other words, like the movie the application had to look 3D.  It had to give depth and dimension while looking sultry.  Is it easy to do? Well, I can't say this tutorial is for the fast and easy smoky eye look but everything in this tutorial has been covered in my past posts.  With some practice and patience, I am sure you can achieve the same look too.  Let's get on with the tutorial.

Shading the Eyes or Separating the Eyes from the Rest of the Face

It has been a long time coming for this tutorial but to tell you the truth it is hard to do a tutorial using oneself in real time.  In other words it is so much easier to just photoshop the steps, but I decided to show you on my mature eyes how shading the eyes work.

I have eliminated the steps on what products have been used.  I will just mention what colors I have used.  I will also leave out the details of how I did my winged liner and such because I covered that many times in many posts.

Want Revenge? Makeup Tutorial Inspired by the Character Emily Thorne

This is another tutorial inspired by the television show Revenge.  A show not only is a great weekly drama, but a great show with great makeup.  The last tutorial was about Victoria Grayson the manipulative bitch who had an affair with David Clarke.  This tutorial is about another manipulative woman Emily Thorne (born Amanda Clarke), daughter of David Clarke.  Emily looks so sweet and innocent but underneath that exterior lies a woman as manipulative as Victoria.  As you can see, Emily Thorne has hooded eyes and I figured the best model for this tutorial would be Lisa from Beauty Info Zone.
